The sleek and sporty design of the 2008 Santa Fe will make you wonder if you really are driving an SUV. Upon entering the cabin, the dimensions remind you of this vehicles class. The 60/40-split second row and the 50/50-split third row both fold flat to increase the cargo capacity of the already spacious trunk. When not folding down, the seating arrangements have a seven-person capacity. The passengers in the Santa Fe were in the designers’ minds because they receive dual climate zones, fan controls, an optional DVD player with display screens and more! Hyundai grants the driver its new navigation system, a convenient vehicle control placement and a Trip computer that displays various driving parameters!

The driver also gets a 3.3L DOHC V6 engine to provide a powerful burst of 242-hp to this excellent SUV. There are also two automatic transmissions available, as well as one 5-speed manual. This SUV drives like a dream, and to stay true to Hyundai’s 2008 commitment to safety, the 2008 Santa Fe is loaded with six airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, a tire pressure monitoring system and much more standard and optional features. As if the added exterior protection of an SUV wasn’t enough, I felt nothing but secure with all of this protective technology surrounding me.

I can comfortably recommend the Santa Fe to people of any preference, because it gives you a little bit of something from every class.
